I like the tone - all-serious wouldn't seem right for Alfred's point of view, anyway - I love the way you write him. And Ivan seems very cool (and hot!) in this!

An update so soon? Truly? Is this not but a dream in which I will wake to the terrible reality that a chapter three does not exist?

How am I supposed to play my cowboys games and wrangle up ponies when I have this to read? The answer is: I cannot. Okay, now seriously, on to the actual fangirling reviewing.

I absolutely loved the way you write Alfred. He's such a lovable goof, and I adore how sometimes he thinks he's just too darn smart for himself, like when he does the whole post-it note thing to remember to pick Matthew up.

I like the whole subplot that's going on as well. I'm absolutely piss at writing those, can only manage one story going on at a time. And Ivan's tattoos! I feel like he's someone who could definitely pull off loads of them (as opposed to the full-body tats construction workers I see, that just looks odd). He'd make them look hot and intimidating.

Then again, that sums up Ivan pretty well anyway.

Also, I feel like one of those people, but I really want to knock
