Belated Happy New Year!
I never update this thing on a regular basis, but I thought I'd make a post today~ I do have some sketches I owe people for the meme on my last post. Perhaps I can get to some of those today after I take down the Christmas tree. X3
I did have a really nice Christmas and New Year. For Christmas, I only got a few things, including some new socks, lotion, a Petsmart gift card, coal, a certain manga series, and some money. It was a pretty sparse Christmas, I have to say. D: But that doesn't really matter to me. There's actually some pretty interesting stories surrounding the presents which made this past Christmas truly exciting. XD
The Petsmart gift card was actually given to me early, since I broke Nabby's previous tank when trying to kick the rest of the bedding out of it while cleaning. So, since I got a good 60 bucks to replace everything, she ends up getting this:
Notice the ball there? That's new too. She got the most swag this Christmas! XD
Yes, I did get a bag of "coal" as a joke gift! It is now currently in sacredmonster's friend Susu's possession, ahahaha.
The greatest gift I got this year I'd have to say, was sacredmonster's:
YES! Hahahaha! I so had no idea. XD When I opened the box she stuffed the manga in, I was at first confused because it was a box of wine glasses, to which I was immediately skeptical cause she knows I'm not a drinker! I thought it may have been a joke, and remembered her saying that she liked to hide real presents in misleading boxes. Even then, I had no clue. But when I opened it and saw the familiar size and look of manga...I was all like "she diiiidn't!" Thanks for that, Megy!!!!
Oh man, a present I got before the semester was over by my bud Ryan was certainly a surprise.
Yes sirree, Twilight. Sorry man, this book is sooo hard for me to get through. XD
This is the face of someone who just can't believe how this book got so popular in the first place.

In other news, miss Meghan keeps pushing me to finally play all the Phoenix Wright games. It's been a VERY long time coming, but I just keep avoiding it! I know I'll get obsessed. XD
Meghan let me borrow her game, so now I REALLY have no choice!
Not only that though...but when this starts happening:
and I haven't even played the game...I know it's gonna be bad. LOL
In any case, I'm having a good New Year so far! Let's hope it stays that way!
