It kept so well with the feel of NHK, despite *not* being uber-depressing yet...

I can't see Satou thinking of Yamazaki as "Kaoru," but that's my only real gripe with it. Will be sure to spread it around to the, uhh, "vast body" of NHK fans I know. x.x

You're totally right, actually. I think Misaki will probably refer to Tatsuhiro by his given name (she was calling him Satou-kun by the end, wasn't she?) but in spite of the way I've romanized it, it seems more likely that Tatsuhiro would refer to Kaoru by his family name, honorifics or no. Edited, and +5 to your Karma for the week :)

saw your invite to come look at this over on the one NHK community. this is the first fic for NHK i've ever read and i must say it's good. i've been in serious withdrawl (no pun intended) ever since the anime ended and the manga scanlations are so sporadic i can't rely on them. so i must thank you for pursuing this endevor.
