Why don't they make pretty dresses for girl's my size? Have you tried shopping Torrid yet? They have some really pretty dresses and they are for bigger gals! I can't wear everything there, but their dresses and corsets are great because I'm so busty. :)
I'm beginning freak out mode because I'm standing in a wedding for the first time in June and I'm going next week to get measured for the dress...and I'm just terrified that I'm gonna look so fat in this pretty taffeta dress. So be glad you at least get to pick something that looks good on YOU instead of having to wear the same thing as a bunch of other gals!
Good luck, tho!!! I hope you find something really pretty!! *hugs*

Man I guess Torrid is out of the really pretty stuff I saw before Christmas. I haven't been there since right after Christmas when I went back (in the Boxing Day insanity) to get a corset I had my eye on.
I wish I knew of other stores...crafting stuff I can tell you where to find just about anything you can imagine but dresses I don't know so well. But I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!!

Maybe you could get a pretty simple dress, then add your own flair? Like some pretty trims or appliques? Or replace simple buttons with prettier ones?
Also if you still have some time, it's going to be prom season real soon, so many more dresses are coming out! ;3
