“Don’t cry.” With his lips, he whispered those soothing words of comfort. While with his actions, he gently wiped the tears cascading down those tear-stained cheeks, raining it with butterfly kisses that acted as salve to such broken psyche. “Shhh... hush, Yuri. Everything will be alright now. I won’t go anywhere anymore. I’ll forever be here with you. Only yours, I promise.” He gave his most adorable smile, before he leaned down and captured those captivating, plump lips with his.

“I love you, Yuri.”

Ryosuke words, they were like salvation into Yuri’s soul. They were like eternity being unfolded into his un-beating heart. Because god, he missed this. Yuri badly missed this. He missed his Ryosuke so much-so very, very much. Because more than his eternal life or even the world itself. His Ryosuke is everything that immortality couldn’t and wouldn’t give to him. Ryosuke is Yuri’s pilgrimage. He is Yuri’s piece of heaven. He is Yuri’s life-Yuri’s Holy Grail.

“R-Ryosuke…” He cried out as his lithe frame wrapped itself around his Ryosuke’s larger built, while his frail hands wrapped itself around Ryosuke’s torso, beckoning the taller male to come closer-much, much more closer than their physical form could ever provide. “I…” He wanted to say something-anything just to make sure that his Ryosuke is right there, that everything is really okay, and that there will be no more of this feud-of this war between their kind.

He doesn’t want this anymore. He never really did because it was hard for him-very, very hard for him because he couldn’t do anything, not even a single thing for the person who means so much to him. Because, seeing his Ryosuke die for the first time was hard, he even stabbed his chest with a knife, wishing it would kill him. But it didn’t. It didn’t even leave him a scar to remind him of what has happened to his beloved one. It just faded away just like every other wound he inflicted on his skin, just to feel the equal amount of pain they’ve done to his dearest Ryosuke, before they kill him-again and again. Again and again, like a cycle, after a thousand of years of waiting for his beloved’s reincarnated soul.

And this feud caused all this. This war caused all this pain and anxiety. It was stupid. Vampires, Human, Shape Shifters, Witches and Elves-there’s nothing wrong with all of them. They are all being created to live and be harmonious. Not this. Not this stupid kind of battle wherein many needs to die and kill to live, just so that one race could reign.

It’s stupid-just plain… stupid.

“Enough, Yuri… enough…” Ryosuke whispered as he kissed his Yuri’s temple and rocked their bodies together in a gentle waltz. “Don’t think anymore. You have suffered enough. It’s alright now. I promise.” He hummed as he tightened his hold on his Yuri’s small frame, especially when he felt those small fingertips crease his shirt, and wrecking sobs followed after. “We’ll be alright now. So hush, little love. I’ve taken all the nightmares away. You can rest soundly tonight. The world outside is beautiful now. So hush… we’ll be fine. You and I,” Ryosuke grinned as he tilted his Yuri’s chin and rested their forehead together. “Don’t cry now.” He wiped those fallen tears again with kisses; before he palmed those red-tinted cheeks and leaned down to give those plump, red lips a proper kiss. “You don’t have to see those horrid dreams of me dying anymore, Yuri. I promise, because now even after one hundred thousand of years, we’ll be together.”

“F-Forever?”

“Yes, forever… so hush now my little love. Vampires and werewolves and other species could live together now, just like how you wanted it to be the first time we met. And, just like how I promised it would be, even if took me one hundred thousand of years to live and die, again and again.”

Hearing those words, Yuri couldn’t help but give in a beautiful smile, as he rested his head atop his beloved werewolf’s shoulder. “Thank you for everything, Ryosuke.” Yuri whispered as he closed his midnight coloured eyes and allowed his Ryosuke’s strong physique to guide him through their little world that is for them to take.

And that’s all the little vampire needs anyway. A world where everything could co-exist and be happy, just like how he is whenever he is draped around his Ryosuke’s arms. Because for little sweet Yuri, the world is nothing without his Ryosuke. Because more than the lips he craved to kiss again and again, more than the hands he wanted to feel gently engulfing him into a tight and very secure embrace. More than that, more than all that what Yuri really wanted is the love his Ryosuke could give to him, because there might be anybody out there who could satisfy Yuri’s demands, but only his sweet werewolf could make him feel alive-despite of him being dead inside.
