I have to warn you, signing a lease puts an extraordinarily large feeling of responsibility on your shoulders. This, however, can be counteracted with vast quantities of a special form of alcohol known as the Celebratory variety.
I too have been recording, but it has occured to me that my brain music requires drums. I'm currently stuck with no drums and very little progression. It's a shame really.
I also really, really want to see "V For Vendetta" this Friday. It looks marvelous. And I'm gay for Hugo Weaving.
I can't wait for V for Vendetta. That one is already being reviewed and it's been getting really good reviews, so I'm not worried about that one. Ultraviolet wasn't reviewed before it came out. Lesson to learn: don't go see movies unless they have been reviewed before hand.
My three track demo will be just be with vocals, guitar, and maybe one song with a piano if the piano in residence gets decently tuned for once. lol Can't wait to hear your stuff though!
Anyway, the Kingston Canadian Film Festival was in town this week. I thought you might be interested to hear. If you get a chance, see the following films:
Lucid (opens in Toronto/Winnepeg/Montréal on Friday; see if it's near you!) La Neuvaine Metal: A Headbanger's Journey (it's playing at some North York theatre; is that near you?) Saint-Martyrs-des-Damnés
I know that I want to see Lucid... depends if I'll be able to drag someone to come with me. lol And no, North York is definitely not near me. I'm a bit more south.
Yeah, Paramount is pretty close by. Unfortunately, it's really expensive, especially for us poor film students who go to the theaters how many times a week? :s Either way, something will work out, it has to!
Awww.... I miss you too gorgeousness! We will see each other a lot during the month of May, even if I am planning on working two jobs, we'll work something out for sure. I'm not letting you go that easily!
