lol I've only really heard of The Little Mermaid's one, though she left out the part where if she killed the prince then she could be a mermaid again. Ah well.

Ok, I thought I had read something that said that the Grimm fairy tales were actually political satires whose meaning is obviously lost on us now, but no one mentioned that in the comments or anything... (heads off to Wikipedia)

I thought it was like... stories to stop children from wandering into the woods and stuff like that. I can't see the political satire in Hansel and Gretel AT ALL. =P If you could find some support for that claim I would be interested to read it!
