I'm sorry. I know the feeling. I'm literally barely making ends meet each month and sometimes I even have to pull cash advances off the credit card at the end of the month, which I *hate* because it means it will take longer to pay the bills down.
I work in an academic library and have just taken on the responsibilities of yet another person who left because we're in a hiring freeze so when someone leaves everyone else just has to work extra hard. I'm doing the jobs of about 3 people right now.
Plus, I'm going up for tenure this year and it's an all or nothing thing - if I don't get tenure, I lose my job.
So yeah, I spend most of my days panicking like this. Sorry I can't do much to help, but know you're not the only one.
