He meets her eyes and doesn't look away as he turns off the sonic screwdriver and slips it into the inside pocket of his jacket, then steps down from the crate he's been standing on.

Mmm yes, one of my all-time favorite "Nine as sexy beast" moments.

Lovely fic.

Oh just lovely! Can we have this scene as canon instead? Please? You've taken one of my favourite scenes probably from all 4 series and made it loads better. :)

He steps in close, takes her hand, looks down at it. Perfect skin, flawless and soft, radiating such warmth, such comfort. Slowly he raises it to his lips, presses a kiss in the hollow of her palm. She shivers, but doesn't look away, and her eyes dilate.

*sigh* God, I love Nine/Rose. This is wonderful. My Favorite Episode made 10 times better.

Only thing that could have made this better is a sequel where they get to the real dancing :) As always a very lovely bit of writing.
