OT3 is short for One True Threesome. It means "one's favorite threesome relationship within a fandom." It developed from the abbreviation "OTP," which stands for "One True Pairing", which means "one's favorite pairing within a fandom." In this case, it means that the story will wind up with Rose, Jack, and the Tenth Doctor in a relationship together. How it gets to that point... well, that's the fun part. *g*

Oh, this is awesome. I'm always up for Firefly, and I've always thought it would cross well with Doctor Who... I can't wait to see what the Doctor's up to!
