I LOVE this story and I so adore the relationship between these two. So glad Rose finally found out where the Doctor is but MINES?? YIKES!!! Won't Rose be surprised to pieces when she catches up with 'Jones' Oh the surprises in store. For that matter won't the Doctor be down right Gobsmaked when both Rose & Jack show up to rescue him. About time too! :)

Oh, yeah, he will. :D We're not fully into the plot yet; there are Things Still to Happen. Things that I've mentioned in passing will suddenly become a major part of the story. And don't forget, Rose is still being tracked! *g*

I love these little glimpses we get of Rose's life in the parallel universe, like her unique friendship with Jake.

Thank you so much! Yes, I always felt that Jake would sort of take Rose under his wing, so to speak, especially after Mickey decided to stay in his home universe. :)

I love how well you've got River's voice down. If you've got the knack for her she must be awfully fun to write.

It occurred to me that Ianto would have had fifty fits-in that quiet, reserved, Welsh way of his-if he thought I'd even consider missing a party like this on his behalf.
This made me tear up a bit and I really liked the gentle reminiscences that followed.

Oh, River is a blast to write, she really is. It's taking everything I know about where the story's going, and just shifting a step to the left to look at it from a slightly skewed point of view. Way cool stuff. *g*

I'm glad you liked Jack reminiscing about Ianto and the others. I think that's when he really started to heal: when he could talk about them.

I made such a huge mistake here. I usually refuse to start a multi-part until it's complete so that I can spend a relaxing few hrs reading and enjoying a story start to finish.

But....Jack/Rose is my weakness. I couldn't wait, and now I'm in "until next time" hell. SIGH

Now that the complaining is over - I'm really enjoying this and am looking forward to future parts.

Um... I'm sorry? (I'm not, really, but you knew that.) I have a weakness for Jack/Rose myself, which is why I keep writing it. I'm really pleased you're enjoying it so much that you want to see the rest! I'm posting on Wednesdays now, so at least you know there's a posting schedule. :)
