I think there are a few artillery and Cavalry units in the area... I'll dig around and see what I can find for you.
It's not historically INACCURATE for women to go on the field as soldiers--but those who do, it's imperative to hide their 'womanly' features, and emphasize their 'manly' features. A canvas wrap around the chest, that kind of thing.

Cool. Even if I didn't actually participate in reenactments, it'd be an interesting learning experience, I imagine. :) (I'm not entirely convinced of my ability to successfully hide the 'womanly' features on my chest, y'see. :) )
