Umm, Hi, I know this is slightly weird and all. But I like your journal layout and was wondering how you went about starting to do something like that. I have been wanting to do something like this, but don't know the first place to start. I asked you because this is your journal and I don't know if everything_lj would allow me to ask a question like this.

If you don't want to answer, it's Ok, you don't have to. I just thought I would ask. :)

Well, I started out with a s1 generator (allows you to customize the most). I looked through MANY tutorials on how to do this. I started by making the header in photoshop, and making a simple background, with that, I looked for tutorials on how to position the header using overrides and I also added an Image Map so the links were clickable. I also wanted a sidebar, and the tutorial for sidebars in everything_lj had just what I was looking for.

Basically, it's really hard to explain xD.

Oh, I would love the help since you are offering. I realized it probably had an image map, I just thought it was on the header and the sidebar.

I just want to say that I don't mean to copy it excatly so I am plagerizing it. It would be like the header size positioning. Umm, of course how to use the image mapping and your sidebar. I hope thats not excatly copying. Hee. Ok, so, what do we do first if you have the time that is.

Oh, and also, I will definitely credit you in my user info when it is done as you helping me out so much so no worries.
