So do we add aideshou into our friends list in order to join the community?

I believe there is an option to not add to the friend list but you are still able to join the commun.

however if i am completely wrong (which is very common) and you do need to add us to your friend list to join, then you must do so if you want to participate

building off of nancys point - what i do when i join a public fic comm but dont want the fic cluttering my friends page, ill click join but on the second page, where they ask whether or not i want to add the comm to my friends page, ill just say no/cancel and ill still be joined!
