Ladies & gentleman...more GAYETY.
Bwah...Things have been so slow lately. ^^;; So, I've fell back into writing again. So, here's a snippet of what I got so far. If you don't mind a bit of shonen-ai, give it a read.
“Wall, have you seen the new tenants?”
“Yeah…unfortunately.”
“They’re an odd couple, huh?”
“I guess.”
“Boy, you are blind. Did you not see what they even looked like?” Alex asked whirling around to look at me.
“Well, no. I was just trying to get them outta my hair. I just showed ‘em their room and left it at that.” I answered huffily.
“The short one had solid white hair, and that’s not even mentioning the bearded guy.” She started walked to the other side of the room.
“White hair?” I repeated sitting up in interest.
“Oh, yeah, the other guy is just as peculiar. He had a scar on his left eye, as if he lost it a long time ago. But I’d say from the looks of just the one guy that they’re trouble. You watch yourself, Walter.” Alex said cautiously as if the two strangers were listening right outside the door.
“Alex, you don’t have to warn me about them. If anyone should be concerned, it should be me. You need to watch out.” I said jokingly. “Besides they’re not staying here long. So, don’t worry.”
“Eh…I suppose. Well, it's getting late. I better be off to bed. You be good!” Alex sighed walking to the door.
“Ah, ok.” I slid off my bed and put my hand for the door knob. Instead of touching cold metal, I accidentally took hold of Alex’s hand. “Oh, ah…er, sorry. You’re not the door…” I quickly let go blushing furiously.
“Heh…your powers of observation of astounding.” She chuckled nervously grabbing the handle herself. “Good-bye, Wall.” With that, she walked out and disappeared down the stairs.
“God, I’m an idiot…” I mumbled under my breath. “Huh?”
“Koan…Not here.” A voice whispered.
I looked down the other end of the hall to see Mae and Koan. Koan was clean-shaven now and clad in only a towel still wet from his shower. Mae was just stepping into the bathroom when Koan seized his chance to grab some action.
“There’s no point in getting clean just yet.” He said with a dirty smirk on his face.
“Well, that’s no fair. You got a shower.”
“That’s because you kept whining about how much you hated my beard.”
“Fine, but give me five minutes to get cleaned up.” Mae said pushing Koan away.
“Like I said, what’s the point?”
“Shut up! Five minutes, and you better be on that bed when I get back…” With that, Mae shut the bathroom door.
Koan laughed to himself before turning to see me in my doorway.
“What are you looking at?” He frowned at me.
“Er, uh, nothin’. I was saying bye to a friend. You have a problem with that?” I said.
Koan wasn’t a huge, muscle-bound guy, but with all those scars he certainly looked intimidating enough.
“Well, I don’t see your friend here anymore. I would think after seeing them off, a normal person would go on with the rest of their own business.” He said gruffly.
“Look, I have every right to be here as you do. So, stop pickin’ fights with me.”
“Who’s fighting? I’m just giving you some words of advice, Paul.”
“It’s Walter, and I haven’t heard a word of that advice, Cyclops.”
Suddenly, the scarred man had me against the wall with a fistful my shirt. His face glowering at me with absolute hatred now.
“Call me what you want but utter a word of disrespect to Damaegus, and I’ll have your pointy little head. You hear me, punk?” Koan whispered murderously. His right eye glared at me with intense green. It almost seemed like he thought I was chasing after his girl.
“D-Damaeus? You mean Mae?” I said nervously.
“You got it. If we keep that clear, we won’t have any problems. Now, keep out of my way.” He said bluntly finally letting go of my shirt. Without another word, he opened the door to his room and promptly shut the door behind him.
“Damn, someone needs a nap…or a good fuck.” I shook my head in disbelief at my encounter and left the hostile hallway to the safety of my room again.
Yeah...It still needs a bit of proofreading, but I hope it makes sense for those who know nothing about these characters! XD Hopes you enjoy!
