I didn't really want to put jeffrock up there, because even though he has some dumb ideas, I don't think he's anywhere NEAR most of the competition. But as it turns out, other people disagree. Oh, well.

He looks like Albert Einstein when you put him next to headcube and unnamed525. When I put him up there, I thought to myself, no one is going to pick jeffy when erislover and hollowman are on the board. Will wonders never cease?

I'm surprised...based on the informtion provide, to me it seems there is a clear winner, but clearly most people disagree.

The majority so far seem to be voting for the bigot. But being a bigot isn't the same as being stupid. Worse? Perhaps. But one is a moral error and one is a mental error. I thought we were going for strictly the mental portion.

Yeah, but look at the justification for his claim. That's the staggeringly stupid part.

I am not a bigot. I made myself very clear... homosexuals are not inferior people, or morally inferior, or bad kissers. They are genetically inferior, in a very specific sense which I noted. Genes are designed to pass on information, and homosexuality is a trait that greatly reduces the likelyhood of passing on genetic information.

One might note that depression is genetically superior to the norm as well. This does not mean depression makes for better people, only that depressed people breed (on avarage) earlier and more frequently than nond epressed people. In much the same way, homosexuals are as likely to be great, awesome people as anybody else. But as a genetic strategy, it sucks.

That's the whole idea. The debate was largely about whether or not one could say something is "designed" to do something when it was not consciously designed. I said it could be, others said it could not. That's about two of the three pages of argument there.
