Very nicely done chapter; the story is coming together wonderfully.

Question: the little girl wasn't Molly was she? Or am I trying to make too many connections?

"Very nicely done chapter; the story is coming together wonderfully."
Thank you! I'm really happy with how this is coming. I was afraid it would run away from me and get larger than I wanted it, but its on track now and that makes me smile ^_^

"Question: the little girl wasn't Molly was she? Or am I trying to make too many connections?"
Umm...honestly? I'm not sure, though I'm pretty sure no. I'm about to use Molly rather prominently in one of my other fics, and I don't like to repeat characters too much, so most likely no. Just wanted something utterly pathetic.

Ah, alright. I read over it and thought-- Young girl? Important? Maybe? Molly? Who Knows? I want cookies.

My thought process bothers me sometimes...

I understand. I too often end my thoughts with a random desire for food XP

The thought crossed his mind that he’d already been seasoned for the cook fire

LOL! Oh, black.

Frightened brown eyes met bitter blue, each taking the measure of the other, both wondering how much to trust and what choice he had.

I love it when they stare at each other. Love it to distraction :)

It was Pietro’s own human heart, bleeding love and trust into the darkest corners of the world.

Awww :)

Fantastic chapter. It's all coalescing a bit now, which is good. And you got our boys together, rescuing Claude, which is GOOD.

Lovely! And, you know, black as hell ;)

Yeah, me too ^_^ Of course, it's always nice when a good long stare is followed by wonderful fluff, but whatevs. We all like angst, right? right? *laughs nervously*

Why thank you! Yeah, I'm pleased with how it's coming together. Avoiding the loss of core plot is a goal of mine XD

"Lovely! And, you know, black as hell ;)"
What, exactly, do you mean when you say 'black?'

Angst is the bread and butter of the Plaude community. Don't listen to those people who tell you it should be all fluff, all the time ;)

Hee. It's certainly one I could do with remembering for myself!

Oh, sorry - black as in dark as in twisted/evil. Common figure of speech in the UK but only reading this did I think that actually if you're not familiar with it, it might read very oddly. Like it was a racial issue or somesuch ...

I shall do my best to avoid such heresay. Especially since angst seems to come so naturally to me *sighs dramatically*

"Hee. It's certainly one I could do with remembering for myself!"

It is REALLY HARD XP Especially when your characters are so very yummy and the plot bunnies are out in full force...damn those bunnies...

Sweet. I always love to learn new slang! And yeah, at first glance I thought it was a race thing, and I was very confused. Now that I know what it means, thank you for the compliment *grin* I do try for creepy/twisted. SO much fun to write *shifty smile*

Poor Peter! That's gotta be the worst possible thing for an empath!
But he saved Claude, so soon it'll all be ok ...
