This is one of the saddest chapters you have written so far. To love so much yet not be able to tell the person how you are feeling is really hard to write and make seem realistic. Sometimes in life the baggage of life gets in the way of life. You did a great job, even if it did make me cry. I also liked the way Yugi's mom knew and let them have their privacy together to talk.

Yeah, I was kind of concerned/curious to see how the darker tone lately would be received, but a lot of people seem to like it...or at least believe that it's more realistic.

My throat was literally close to closing all during Yugi's speech. Wow, that is just one of the most well-written yet saddest things I've read in a long time. But it's true: You fight and you fight and you fight and it just isn't enough. Love can't always save a relationship in the end and you've portrayed that beautifully here.
