April wrap-up, May thoughts

I thought I would make a quick post while it was still April in my time zone, though not for much longer.

This month I did a 30 day writing challenge via the cool (and free) website 750words.com. I managed to write every day, and almost all of it was something I used for my fiction story that I have new enthusiasm for writing. There were a few ( Read more... )

Hi Aika! My name is Jess but you used to know me once upon a time on Fiction Alley Park as Jenny_Black. We used to post together on the Remus/Ginny thread. I am glad to see that you are still writing! I really let myself go and I stopped practicing when I began college. Now that I have graduated, I have free time to begin writing again. I figured I would reconnect with some of my old fan fiction buddies while I was at it! I would love to exchange emails or social media profiles! Do you still talk to Spunky? How have you been?

Wow. This is amazing! It's like in the last week I have connected with all sorts of people I used to know or simply knew about. For example, I met my uncle who I had never met before and my mother hadn't seen in about 50 years. On Sunday I reconnected with 2 freinds from my university (bachelor's degree) days. Just yesterday I had the first emails in ages with AJRoald, who was also on the R/G threads. And here you are! Isn't life grand? :D ( ... )

Ha! I remember AJ! Tell him/her that I said hey! Life does do crazy things, doesn't it?

Ah! I am so proud of you! It sounds like hard work, but that is the road that I plan on going down as well now that I finally have time to myself.

I have a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in English. For the most part, I did not like college. I am thankful for all of the experiences, but it was so packed with work, social events, and drama that I didn't really get to spend time doing things that I like. I am introspective, so I am happy to get back just being me. :)

I moved on from lj to tumblr and twitter, but I may start a lj again. Who knows? My name on both is antlermagick.

By the way, it is so cool that you are learning all these languages. I am finally getting around to learning German!
