Are you saying you don't do what you believe is right and stick to your guns? Are you reassuring us that the drama you feel in your life and get sick of is universal?

and you pretty much nailed it i believe. my particular drama is not universal, but i'm sure most people have some sort of drama periodically. and my drama usually seems to arrive from compromising my principles, which i think is also not atypical. people who are unyielding in doing what they believe is right are usually pretty revered, which wouldn't be the case if everyone did it. so i guess plenty of people must go through similar drama at times, as they do something they know is wrong and then feel sick about it, and try to make it right.
at any rate, i mostly blog just to try to get that sick feeling out of my stomach, and it's just a bonus if it starts an interesting conversation.

But yeah, I understand what you're saying, I get downright angry with myself when I don't do what I know I should. All you can do (if it's too late to make it right) is to remember that feeling and, if you can't find the courage, then the impending shame pushes you in the right direction.
