Heh, this just brings up my question of; "Why do Atheists almost ALWAYS ask about the ending of the Bible, and not what came before hand?"
Everytime you talk to someone, all they wanna talk about is the book of Revelations. Why NEVER the HUGE chunk of words before hand? If everyone is so concerned about where we are going after we die, why not read the Bible? It's too farfetched? So is the theory that the Solar System is made out of 'stardust' or the 'Big Bang' theory. All crap.
I don't know about you, but I'd like to believe that my existence is pre-ordained by a higher power, not me coming to life by act of some primeval soup.
On a final note, I don't see how these people can argue that they can't find God, WHEN THEY AREN'T LOOKING FOR HIM. How can you find what you do not seek?
ok. i may not be athiest but im gonna comment on this anyway...
in a lot of cases its not that a person isnt looking for god its that they cant find a god.
i always wanted to believe in some sort of religion. i grew up with it ans tried to keep it in my brain that it wasnt bullshit but i couldnt. to me it is all a mess of words from who knows where. im a see to believe kinda girl and i have found no sort of proof that there is any kind of higher being. telling me some miracle happened after you prayed isnt proof. its coincidence. and even if it were proven to me im not so sure i would follow along with it. i dont believe i was put on this earth to live a goody two shoes kind of life and devote my life to one higher being that may or may not be there.
