I remember some of the seated techniques like that. Those are HARD! Osensei makes them look so easy. Maneuvering like that in seiza is very tough.

I really enjoyed the happogiri (8 cut) techniques with bokken while in seiza. It's very beautiful. :D

I suspect you have to grow up kneeling every day to really be able to do Seiza. It's just something the Western culture doesn't have.

It really can be hard on the ankles. There's a posture in Iaido called Tatehiza where you sit sort of cross legged, but on the sole of your left foot while the right knee is partially raised. That another one to grow into too! :)
