Well, my cat is gone. There was no way he could recover from what happened. He was a good cat and I’ll miss him very, very much. According to the vet there was nothing really that could be done. It was a total miracle that he made it through the night. I don’t think I’ll get another cat, at least not for a while.

In truth I knew for certain yesterday after work that he wouldn't make it and I had a feeling yesterday morning when I got up. I said my goodbyes to him then. I'm just glad I didn't have to make the choice of having him put to sleep because I couldn't afford the bills to get him fixed. I don't deal with those choices well. In this case there was nothing that could be done to prevent or fix it. Thankfully according to the vet he didn't suffer. I'll be fine. I dealt with all the emotionall stuff last night for the most part because I knew then what was happening. I'll miss the little pain in the rear very much.
