I finally got around to buying a laptop. I spent most of Saturday driving around issue shopping for the laptop. I went to Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy and Circuit City. I found the laptop I wanted but they were out of stock in the Asheville Store. The sales person told me they did have plenty in the Arden store. I went to meet Michelle and

That $300 limit is on almost all bank card machines. It's set that way so that someone can't steal your card and wipe you out in one withdrawal. There may also be a max on the amount that can be withdrawn in a day or the number of transactions at one machine, but not sure.

So, how much did the laptop finally cost you?

$750 before tax. It's normally more than that but I got it on sale.
