Got text messages from the post office about TWO packages today and of course I ran down there to fetch them asap.
Althought, to be honest, what lured me out in the cold without a single complaint was probably the big box. I was SO EXCITED

That's really sad about the shop especially if it was a local shop not apart of a chain and you've known the staff for a long time. I would suggest writing a letter to them tell them how much enjoyed their service and that your sad to see it close. And since your a photographer maybe a nice image of the store to give them as a keepsake.

Also I saw the announcement on Omona about the Matoki calendars and there was one of them picnicking during a cherry blossom festival and I wondered if that was you since you had taken all those photos last year.

It's a tiny local shop so yeah.. pretty sad thing to see it go. But I like your suggestions, I'll definitely try to write a letter of some sort at least.

Yes, it's one of my photos, how cool that you noticed! ^^ I sent in a bunch of different ones so I didn't know which one they were going to use until now. It feels pretty neat and I'm really excited that I got to be a part of it.
