I think I tend toward "fabulous" for the weirdly wonderful, "nifty" or "awesome" for everyday splendor, and "epic" or "victoly" for especially good things.

I tend to go with "Fantastic," "Fabulous," or "Excellent."
Generally, because of my Northeast Ohio "A's," this means I usually get made fun of by anyone not used to hearing me talk.

I tend to use the word "Brillant" quite frequently. I also have a tendancy to use "classic" when somethign was quite amusing.

'Oh! This is going to be brilliant!"

'That was classic!"
