Tomohisa wasn't sure whether he was being needy, or whether he was feeling left out for some justifiable reason. He didn't know what exactly made him feel that way - everything was as normal as it had ever been, right? Surely it was just his imagination that the three-way relationship he'd dreamed of was much more perfect in his mind than it had come to be in reality?

The 'middle child' in terms of age thought they were quite lucky to have a top (Jin), a bottom (himself) and a switch (Kazuya); and up until recently they'd always slept in that order, too. Jin-Kazuya-Tomohisa - it was automatic and done without thought. But for some reason, as of late Jin had put himself in the middle, facing away from what the world regarded to be his best friend. It was cold on the outside when Tomohisa was having to press against Jin's back in order to share his body heat.

This morning he was awoken by movement and sound. Jin and Kazuya, awake already - not surprising. Tomohisa was always the last to wake and indeed took the longest to do so; for a while the others had taken great pleasure in finding different ways to rouse their sleeping partner. He was taken from his memories when Jin did something that had Kazuya emit a rather loud squeak.

"Shh, you'll wake him," Jin hissed, and Tomohisa could tell without being able to see that the elder one was having fun with his new game.

"No I won't," whispered Kazuya, whose breath was beginning to come in short gasps. The bed's third occupant could only imagine what Jin was doing to produce such a reaction, though he could feel the smallest one squirming slightly. Jin laughed a little at the reply he evidently hadn't expected.

"You're probably right," he muttered, and the next sounds could only mean that the eldest had grown tired of talking and found a more entertaining way to occupy their mouths. Tomohisa turned over, trying to make it obvious that he was waking. This produced no reaction - and neither, to his surprise, did sitting up. KAT-TUN's famous frontmen just continued what they were doing, their moans and gasps escalating until the other one found he couldn't take it any longer.

"Mine," Tomohisa heard Jin growl possessively; that being the last thing he did hear before he shut the bedroom door behind him with much more force than was at all necessary.

They say that while the youngest gets all the attention, the middle child is often forgotten.

Right now, Tomohisa couldn't agree more.
