On another note, unfortunately The Netherlands lost their match to Portugal. Had they won, the quarter-final match would have been the Dutch vs the English. Maybe it's for the best though.....I'd like my brother and sister-in-law to still be speaking to each other when they move to the States...

Funny thing is - he was more upset about the Dutch team losing than I was!
They played like individuals, not like a team and had more than enough opportunities to score at least 1 goal.

Unfortunately, we now end up in the record books for the amount of cards issues! (14 yellow, 4 red)

The good news....we can all support the same team until the end of the WC.
