Grey's Canon Going AU?
Most of us have been writing it or reading it for years under the creative guise (read: cesspool of denial) that is fanfiction, refusing to let our ships/characters/'what was meant to be' die. Come February 2012, could Shonda be giving us the chance of a lifetime? According to Ausiello, Grey's is going AU for an episode.
Everyone Is Affected?
I've been a fan of Grey's since its inception, but the Addek moments will sink my Maddison ship into the depths. How will the dominoes fall if Addison and Derek never divorced? Will Mark/Meredith be a possibility, that is of course if Mark doesn't go back to New York with his tail between his legs. What about Alex and Izzie? Cristina? George? Will Grey's even be Grey's without the perpetual angst fest that is Derek and Meredith? What say you PrP fans? That might not exist so no Addison/Sam/Pete/Kevin. Naomi and Sam might still be married. Archer won't sleep with Nae. I could go on.
It's amazing how so many lives hang in the balance just by altering one aspect of someone else's.
