yaay, i'm glad you like it :) They're a pair who don't exactly express themselves well in words but most definitely in actions. I feel they should say it more and not wait for hard times to come around. As for part 2, I dunno, it was meant to be one of those one-shots where the end was unfinished for a reason, if I did a part two, it may be too overly cliche for my tastes. But come to your own conclusions! The ending I picture in my head for the two of them may be more angst-filled before it gets better.

I really appreciate you commenting on this ^_^

I take it you really liked this :) I'm sorry for the heart-breaking scenes but it's what came to my head at the time. If he was going to die, I would've definitely included that but he's not.

Hmm, I think I may have to reconsider and write another chapter.

This is beyond beautiful. I love the ending with Callie and Derek sitting together. I've always felt that Derek has this sort of feeling about them, like he's the only one that can really see the how much they actually do love each other.

I loved this, you're such an amazing writer.

Hi Elise! Yeeh, I'm glad someone mentioned that! I completely agree so included Derek just for that reason. He is very knowing but unfortunately we haven't gotten many Mark/Derek or Derek/Callie scenes that showed any insight...not proper ones anyway.
