hey ryan, yes, i've read similar things, in my social movements course, we were given a book called "activism, inc" and it discussed exactly how they've made activism into a business, it's all about quotas, incentives, bonuses, etc, and the burnout rate is ridiculous. so after reading all about that, and deciding not to even apply for any PIRG jobs, i somehow still got suckered into this one. but i've decided to stay b/c i like manchester, there is a potential boy interest - it's pathetic that i'm staying for a boy - please kick my ass when we get back to school, especially if this doesn't work. and i will keep everyone abreast as to the situations and conditions here.
how's your summer? can you send me your published articles?
