i think the musings blog you describe sounds like a multimedia freak-out extravaganza. i'd totally stick it in my daily blog bar.
also, a name-change-facelift would be a nice little jolt for the whole operation. i keep trying to change names, but i never completely follow through. hence: mistercarmex is still in use after six years.
