Y'know, I've never actually come across anyone who had the nerve (and complete lack of brains) to plagiarise in such a brazen manner. My mind, it does boggle. :)
Really? Lucky you. During my time as a student assistant, I once had the less than desirable task to proove another student had plagiarised someone's work. :/

Crap, if you're going to plagiarise your work you could at least have the decency not to make it so bloody obvious. Cheats these days just don't make the effort.

I'm not at all fond of confrontations like these, but I'll have to make it clear that after her trying to pass me off as dappy like that, I'm in no mood not to go to the professor and tell on her. Besides, I rather count myself as part of the staff these days, having taught there for almost two years now.
I think you're absolutely right. I'd go straight to the professor at the first sign of her kicking up a fuss, because actually, as soon as she's behaved like that it stops being your problem.

I could use some of the stuff she compiled on her own, i.e. from the last third of what she'd sent me. I'll be telling her what's what, obviously, and if she gets stubborn, I'll offer to spill the beans on her to our professor resulting in her getting zero credit for the course. I have neither time nor patience nor empathy in such cases.
