For the photography, kudos on getting a real camera, as much as I love digital it takes away all the fun. What brand is it? I know Mikona do pretty good attachments for most generic cameras, also it depends on whether you want to develop your own photos.
Is it a camera with a lens but digital capabilities? I suggest getting a lens filter either way, makes for some amazing shots outdoors, so can really capture those moments.
Hee yeah it was pretty cool :) We also followed it up with a marathon of the extended film versions. Haha, geekery.
The camera is a Fujitsu FinePix S7000, and its a bridge camera rather than a full SLR, and yeah its digital. And aye, I'm feeling the need to seek out some filters, I've bought a couple of books and now I neeeeds them :P
