Becoming Jane just stomped all over my heart. My headache hurts worse from watching it (the strain of trying not to be a girl and cry is hardgoing!). I don't even care about the 'inspired by' historical liberties. I love sappy romances. Especially sappy romances that are doomed to end in pain. Is this a worrying fact?

I might watch Persuassion next

I think the reason everyone loves jo and george, is because the main focus point of the stories are on these characters. Lousia May Alcott based the stories on her life - yes her sister Lizzy died young :( and the character Jo is meant to be her, so inevitably everyone is able to identify more with Jo.
