I have two things this reminds me of. Last week on the way back from the Harry Potter party, we came upon an accident in the middle of the interstate. We weren't the first people there, but I was the first to call 911. There were two people lying in the middle lane of the freeway. Several cars/trucks went AROUND them, very close and very fast. At least one car nearly hit theirs (It was hard to see because it had been ON FIRE but...) Lots of people got out to help- one was a doctor, but plenty of people were just standing around watching. Very mixed response I guess.

THe other thing happened more directly to me: I fell down an escalator in London, I landed at the bottom and couldnt move for a few minutes. No one helped me, no one asked if I was ok. ONe lady yelled at me that I had to move (I was in the way, but I kinda COULDNT) so... Yeah.
