I'm visiting my friend in Vermont. There are three of us here and in the past two days, we have: hiked 3 miles up a mountain (ow), gone skinnydipping in a swimming hole, and made a few good meals and a pie. I made popovers! It's beautiful here ( Read more... )

I don't understand why it is so difficult to find pants that fit me. What? Am I supposed to fucking walk around naked just because I won't starve myself to fit into a size 2? thomas friedman wrote this really annoying op-ed yesterday about the class of 2007 and how they're quiet americans, and he made this whole comparison about how suicide bombers are pessimistic and these nice american students are so optimistic and sweet and go teach kids in India even though those terrorists are all over the place ready to kill them ( Read more... )

i just called my friend who im gonna go visit on thursday and she was at school for senior week, but she couldnt talk to me because she was at a really loud party. oh man

1. my mom's becoming more crazy, i think i've told people that here multiple times
2. i'm so tired
3. less worried about this summer now
4. blech
5. i want to go to the beach

i feel really sad about the end of this year.
inevitable feelings of regret
inability to focus on set task (studying)
desire to listen to sad music (aimee mann)

and i think it's about time for me to grow up and change. in a good way.
