[ There is no fumbling as the communicator turns on. Whoever it is seems quite familiar with the technology used. ]

Looks like it's on..

[ There's the sound of someone clearing their throat. Then a male voice starts, low and clearly attempting to soothe whoever he's speaking to, but it's shaky and he sounds tired:]

H-hello. Um, my name is SSA Dr.

Looks like none of us 're in Kansas, or Virgina or New York, anymore, eh? Cheer up, Dr. Reid, it's not that bad here. 's only been a day and I can't even get myself worked up over it anymore. [He's definitely grinning, despite his words.]

You aren't the usual bumbling idiot we normally get. Sometimes it takes new arrivals weeks to get used to using the communicator.

So SSA Dr. Spencer Reid, welcome to Discedo. I can assure you this isn't Virginia nor is it Earth.

This, ah, communicator is actually very similar to electronics we have back home. Cell-phones, handheld video games, walky talkies.. It's not that hard to figure out if you know how to use one of those.

So I've been told. I'm still trying to..you know, wrap my head around the idea of being able to be taken to another world. I-I mean, scientists and physicists have been trying for years to perfect travel between worlds but we're not even close to anything like this. Especially taking people in large groups-- [ Cut him off if you like. :x If not, he won't shut up. ]

Travel between two worlds really isn't that difficult once you figure out the right equation for the connection of two points in space. I've been doing it for centuries,though the rest of the Universe has yet to keep up with my genius. They're still traveling by space ship.

As for our unfortunate relocation, there are several methods that can be employed for such a large scale group. What puzzles me is their selection method for various individuals.

I had something kinda like that. With there being doctors around, anyway. I had some weirdos kidnap me and experiment with my head. I thought I got away from them, but now I seriously have no clue.
