*Note - Why do I have to sit through 20 minutes of commercials (before the previews) when I go see a movie now? Isn't paying $40 for popcorn and a drink enough punishment?

That's why I bought a humongous flat screen TV and have it hooked up to digital cable and a huge home theatre setup. I just wait a few months and either buy the DVD or rent it. I figure the savings on going to the movies will pay for itself in twenty or thirty years. ;P

I'm with you on the home viewing thing - As fast as they put them out on DVD for sale, it does seem silly to drop so much cash for a movie night out when you can stay in and be more comfortable (and pause!).

I think we only go out for the really big action movies now or things that I am dying to see (and can't wait the few months for the DVD).

I'm a big fan of the new box sets, bought the first two and hope to get three and four for Christmas.

I bought the (old) box sets last year from Future Shop I think for a Christmas present - the news sets this year have different packaging (and probably some other extra fancy stuff, but I'm not rebuying darn it!).

It's a great collection, I enjoy comparing all the different Bonds. :)

Yes, I agree - it is different, but not in a bad way at all.
Daniel Craig really can act and he looks much more capable of pulling off those stunts that 007 does (body-wise).

I hope he gets to do the next ones (and I'm sure there will be more). ;)
