My Mom took the long flight back home on Friday (at 6:15 AM!). We had a good time during her visit here...we visited downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, Granville Island, the Cloverdale Flea Market, Fraser Downs race track, took the Skytrain to Metrotown to shop, drove around Langley and Surrey for random shopping and visited a few good restaurants ( Read more... )

I can't believe that a year has passed since I married my best friend and changed my entire life for the better. It seems like it was only a few months ago that we stood in front of our family and friends on that quaint little deck overlooking the waterway and promised to love each other forever.

Fall has definitely arrived around here..it seems the trees turned color and dropped leaves within a week, no time to linger. The temperature has reached that glorious 60-70 degree mark that I love and we've had some remarkably sunny days to enjoy it ( Read more... )
