I'm currently writing a kids' book about a zombie, and I'm trying to decide what to name him. Or rather, I'm trying to pick a new name for him, because it's probably bad form to name zombie after political figures, however apt the comparison may seem, and even if the name does seem to suit him. Gary is my dad's name! Although now that I think about it, he does lurch around a lot while groaning for the first hour or so after he wakes up...

Also, I think the American pronunication of 'Gary' is much more amusing than the Australian one, so if I was writing for an American audience it would work, but not so much with the Aussie audience.

Stanley is my car's name!

I like Herman and Cerveaux.

His name is currently Yeltsin. It suits him, but you can see why I'd need to change it. Stu suggested Lurchin' Boris, but that doesn't really solve the problem.
