the fic you go back to again and again

For some reason, I'm on my third reading (over the last year) of this very entertaining fic called The Veela Enigma, by jennavere. A Harry/Draco story, and although it's mostly ridiculous, I get so much enjoyment from it. It's especially great on a day like today when I am completely out of sorts, feeling unwell both mentally and physically.

I'm not a H/D fan but I'm BFF with someone who is, and I'm almost certain she's quoted this exact passage to me over Yim at least once. It sounds delightfully amusing, and if I were in the fandom, I'd probably have it as one of my guilty pleasure fics. *g*

It's really just so over the top you can't help but be amused, and perhaps mildly disgusted with yourself for laughing, which is all part of the fun =P
