Title: Clashes of Silver.
Summary: When they met, they did all that they knew how to.
Rating: PG-13.
Word Count: 507.
Pairing: Leviathan/Kyouya Hibari.
AN: Mm, an awkward one-shot.

Their meeting was coincidental, and as soon as their eyes had met, there was one thing on their minds. Of course, the two had crossed paths before, instantly reacting to the other's presence, yet that time it was different. Reaching hands were drawn as they ached for their weapons, fingers caressing the steel their strength possessed. To them the only way to show their power, ignoring the gut wrenching stubbornness they had, was through their actions. Ignorance was power, too, in a sense as it deluded their thinking to levels that were understandable.

“You've appeared again, herbivore.”

It was all about the sharp jabs, blows and who's blood had been shed first. The first droplet that hit the floor started the game of sorts, persuading their movements to become more lethal; one was graceful as he moved, the rustling of his clothing alerting the other of his movements, while the older male seemed on a different spectrum. His actions were rugged, matching his looks for that matter. The smaller male looked pristine and pampered, untouchable, while his opponent was the opposite.

“I've suffered worse blows,” Leviathan proclaimed, jaw set in indignation. On the iside, however, he was glowering at the smaller male. Determined not to lose again-since, clearly, returning to the Varia's base with some sort of a token from a Vongola Guardian would've gotten him more acknowledgement. Possibly presenting Kyouya Hibari's ring, or even the sash he was adamant on wearing, would've been enough. “I'll be the one to draw blood first, this time.”

“I dare you.” Hibari smirked, his comment an invitation for Levi to take the first step. The older male shifted his weight, watching. “You've ran away with your tail between your legs each time.”

“Retreating is fair within a fight,” Levi denied, trying to hold some of his pride that he clutched onto. “I'm lulling you into a false sense of security.” Rather, he was lulling himself into one. The bruises from their last fight were still there, taunting him when the mirror was peered into.

“Enough talk,” Hibari demanded, the smirk settling across his lips full of implications. Both of his tonfas were drawn, the ends collapsed so the spikes were visible. His expression was almost bloodthirsty, as he longed for the moans of pain that he was accustomed to. The male in front of him was scarce with the noises he emitted; only when a particularly hard blow was delivered did he allow a moan to be released. “Are you too weak to attack?”

“Do you want to be on your knees in front of me, kid?” Levi clutched one of his umbrellas, thinking thoroughly about the best tactic he could attempt. Many if them had failed, especially ones that included close contact. Stepping into the other's personal space wasn't a smart choice. “Don't answer, I'll make you do it anyway.”

And with that their meeting was no different. The only time their paths crossed was to cause pain, nothing that could be any good.

Exactly what they wanted.
