My first "cooking class" ended up being okay! Apparently it's not just cooking that we're going to learn; we're going to be covering everything to do with the art of living so that we can all turn into nuns. We learned some culinary terms, then made this baked potato thing, (where you cut open the potato and scoop out the stuff so that it's like a bowl, then mix the contents in a seperate container and add blue cheese and bacon and stuff, mash it, then put it back into the potato and leave it in the oven for a while) and learned some napkin folding. The potato thing was actually quite good, when we tried it after :D I really liked the napkin folding the most though, I learned how to make a fan (that can go on a plate or in a wine glass) and a flower, out of a simple napkin, like they do in those fancy restaurants. *___*
It's supposed to be for grade 7 and up, but I think I was the oldest there... D: Or it felt like it. I knew some of the girls from past camps and stuff, and most/all of them are like 1-2 years younger than me, I'm pretty sure. If they're not, they're kind of rude for 14-year-olds.. D: Most of them didn't like how the potato tasted with blue cheese, and they showed it by making disgusted faces and going "Ewwwww..." If you don't like it, keep it to yourself, kiddies ):
But, after that club activity was over, I WENT TO MY AUNT'S HOUSE AND MET HER STUDENTS ♥ The girl from Mexico is Anna Maria (such a pretty name!) but we call her Anna. Haruna is from Japan, and she is adorable ;o; Anna is 29 and Haruna is 20; they made me guess they're ages D: I was trying to be polite and started lower, and then they went insane when I was guessing Anna's age (Me: "..21? T__T" Both of them: "MORE, MORE!!!" *waving hands in the air like maniacs*) LOL you'd never guess that Anna is 29, she looks so young! They both do, in fact; Haruna looks my age. But they're both very very pretty (: And they get along real well, which is nice! Anna talks a lot more than Haruna does, but they're both hilarious and crazy, which I love of course :D They act like people do in Japanese comedy dramas. I'm serious. XD When I first came into my aunt's house, Haruna was at the top of the stairs to greet my aunt, and then when she saw me she was like !!!! /hand over mouth. I explained that I was my aunt's neice, and then Haruna went crazy and she and Anna ran down the stairs, and Anna shook my hand.
We talked and got to know each other a little, and then the rest of my family came over and we all had dinner. It was super yummy because my aunt's a great cook. My brother was performing with our school's band so he eventually came later. Haruna & Anna couldn't understand him though, because my brother talks waaay fast. I found a little snarky satisfaction in this 8D They both saw I loved chocolate, so Haruna gave me lots of packages of Japanese chocolate sweets and Anna gave me Mexican chocolate @____@ /SPOILED. I ate it right when I got home though, CHOCOLATE IS SO YUMMY NO MATTER WHERE IN THE WORLD IT'S FROM. Then when it was time to go I hugged both of them, and they took more pictures (they always have their cameras and take pictures of everything) with me, they said it was because I was cute and nice, LOL. I don't usually hug people I've just met but when I like my aunt's students I always give them a hug. Kind of like a "I like you, just to let you know" thing.
Ahhh, but I really wanna hang out with them more ;o; They're both so fun. I usually want to go home right away when I'm at my aunt's cause there's not much to do there, but yesterday night was the first time I wanted to stay D: Anna is leaving at the end of February, but Haruna is staying until the end of March (plenty of time to bombard her about Johnny's/dramas/all things Japanese). Hopefully I'll get to see them again soon <3
