I went to the movies last night!  I saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.  I thought it was super cute and liked it a lot.  However, before the movie there was an Army advertisement that involved Kid Rock singing a song called Warrior or some bullshit like that.  It had the whole Army motto running through it, the "I am a soldier, I will not

We saw Nick and Norah's on Friday night and saw that Kid-Rock music video too. I don't have the familial connection that you do, but I REALLY REALLY hate when people try to play the patriotic game to guilt-trip you into supporting the war. "If you LOVED america like I do, you'd pick up a gun and shoot some folks too! You must not bleed red, white, and blue like I do, you stupid commie!"

Luckily...Nick and Norah was super adorable, so your mind can be turned to watching cute little high schoolers fall in love, as opposed to plotting the demise of red-necks like Kid-Rock.
