This was absolutely perfect. And what I love about your fics is that in most of them, there's no kissing or anything of the sort. The love shines through in different ways, and normally that would make me frustrated or leave me unsatisfied, but it works so well for you that I don't need anything more to make it worthwhile.

So perfectly crafted and believable and realistic and amazing. Gorgeous job.

When writing relationships, I think subtlety is the way to go, especially given that the two members of this relationship are Eames and Arthur.

So I should have commented on this back when I first read it, but I didn't so I will now and tell you that this is one of my favorite things in the fandom. I literally couldn't sleep after I first read and then re-read it. It's so beautiful and emotive, and just like the commenter above noted, the relationship between Eames and Arthur is expressed so perfectly in such subtle. This line: Eames is wearing the same look on his face as though he's seeing Arthur back in that warehouse; bloody, beaten to hell, and delirious with pain and dreams. "No, pet," he whispers, and his voice wavers, trembles, breaks. "Arthur." And this: "Go on," he encourages gently - how did Ariadne ever miss how gentle Eames is? ... you kill me, bb. (Long comment is long... sorry about that) But seriously, this is wonderful.
