thank you to everyone who has called/texted me to make sure emily and her family are doing ok.
emily still doesn't have power at her apartment and her parents don't have power
but as far as i know everyone i know down there is fine.
thankfully.

i'm so happy that emily's family is fine.
i've known them since i was 7 so they're practically my family

i keep thinking... i should send money to those poor people dammit, but then i think... what the hell is my $100 really going to help when they need like $10 billion... then i think well what if everyone thought that? it just seems so insignifigant... im torn.
