I've always been a fan of logophiles's work, and enjoyed many of her awesome stories, so since I just finished reading Transitional Arrangements, I thought I'd give it a quick

Overall, I really enjoyed this story. It's exciting, fast paced, and draws you in from the very beginning. The concept is interesting, and not something you see done a lot, involving the dead having to request the living's help in order to save the world. The main character, Nevo Langse, is likeable and human, with reactions and emotions that most of us would feel in his situation. The other main characters are just as well written, and I couldn't help but feel sorry for them as they went through the difficult situation of having a lover die, or to be the one that ends up dead.

This story, as most of her work, is heavy with male/male relationships, though very light on the smut, which isn't surprising considering the situation, and doesn't detract from the story at all.

The entire thing is written in her usual entertaining style, and is a quick read. I've found that most of her stories tend to suck me in as soon as I start them, not letting me go until I've read through to the very last. This one is no different, and if you're in the mood for some excitement and a good read, I highly recommend it!
