Ray gave up 2 weeks in Miami to go north with Fraser and it was his idea.

Ray’s shock at Fraser being blind.
Ray follows Fraser around despite the fact the latter has a head wound.

Ray carries Fraser and the supplies without much complaining.
Ray gently gets Fraser upright as he leans him against the tree and gives him the water.
Fraser opens his arms to be lifted up.
They share details about food - Ray his mother’s pasta fagioli and Fraser about his grandmother’s bannock.
Ray gives Fraser all the water.
They sing together.
They defend their friend to their fathers and refuse to abandon each other.
Ray’s hands linger on Fraser’s shoulders after retracting his lower lumbar (which Fraser trusts him to do) and helps Fraser up.
Ray’s proud of getting the tree - Fraser I got one.
There is teamwork as they build the raft and the duck now exchange.
Ray tells Fraser the story of how he never went camping.
He grabs and pushes Fraser along as Fraser holds onto Ray.
To stop blind Fraser sulking himself Ray throws the bola.
Ray’s smile to Fraser now he can see.
