Okay, I have a question... since I didn't know you were asexual...(oops, bad me for not paying attention!)
Now I know what asexuality is but I'd like for you to define for me what an asexual is... or rather, what being asexual means for you...and perhaps also how it's effected your life...and why you believe you are so...
(And okay, I really don't have a clue about asexuality. I feel like a dunce.)

May I second this question. It's one thing to know a dictionary-style definition, or the commonly understood theory of what a word means -- quite another to have someone explain what it actually means in reality for them.
That actually sounds a lot like me and my homosexuality... I mean, I can relate to a lot of life experiences: not understanding the attraction to boys and sex, and always feeling different but couldn't quite figure out why.
Then I found out about girls, girls, girls and lesbian sex! I haven't been the same since...
Still, I agree with you about it being just a /part/ of you. Sometimes, I don't exactly forget I'm a lesbian, but most of the time I don't dwell on it either. When I came out to my dad he said this was going to be a hard road to follow and I understand why he said that but on the other hand I don't understand... I'm not different from anyone else, yet I am.

I think it's really good that they have a day to make people more aware.
